| Providers |
| Getting Started |
| Registration |
|
Provider registration is
quick and easy. To be able to respond to buyers requests,
have an online store and list products and services providers
must open a provider account.
This is done by selecting <become a provider> and entering
the details requested. We only require information essential
to operation of your account so we may communicate with you.
We take your privacy very seriously and we encourage you to
review our privacy policy and terms and conditions to see
our position and commitment. |
|
| Setting Up |
|
Setting up is akin to opening
a shop. If your profile and products/services are not entered
no one will be able to find or deal with you.
There are two aspects to setting up
1. Create a profile(s)
2. List products and/or services
To create a profile, login to your provider account and select
<create profile> and enter the information you are prompted
to do. This section is intended to give buyers an overview
of your company and is often used during the selection process.
It is therefore important to give attention to this aspect
as it is essentially your resume within BusinessParc.
If you find that your products and services cross over several
industries it is possible to create as many profiles as you
need for your business.
By listing product and services your company is linked to
the sub-categories that are relevant to your business. This
also drives the ‘get a quote’ system and ensures
you are only notified of requests relating to products and
services you provide.
Products and services are added from your account area. Select
<add product> or <add service> according to your
needs and complete the required fields.
You can add as many products and services as you provide under
any of the profiles you have created. |
|
|
As mentioned in the setting
up section, the quality of your profile will impact on your
ability to attract new buyers.
With this in mind please take note of the following suggestions
for creating an effective profile. These tips are intended
to help you make the most of your company’s image and
are not intended to prescribe any magic formula. |
| |
· Category –
This is the industry area your business operates in
· Your name – Generally the name of the business
owner or decision maker when attracting new business
· Your designation – The position of the person
named above
· Company name – Trading name of the company
· Service – This is intended to give a very brief
synopsis of your company’s service, what you do.
· Date of incorporation – When your business
started trading. Buyers have varying preferences; some prefer
established providers whilst others prefer new companies.
Either way, the date is required.
· Location – Your current trading address.
· About – This is where you can go to town about
how fantastic your business is. It is a good opportunity to
enter any information you feel would help a prospective customer
feel comfortable choosing you over your competition.
· Area of Focus – Once the buyers have an understanding
of who you are you can now tell them what you are really good
at. This is also an opportunity to make sure your company
goes in the direction you want by setting out the focus you
have.
· Partnerships or Alliances – Do you specialise
in a particular brand or have strong strategic allegiances?
If you feel your associations will help give confidence to
your customers, let them know.
· Awards and recognitions – This is a great area
to complete if you can. It often endorses all you have said
in the previous sections.
· Standard Business Terms – If you have a particular
way of doing business which you feel customers should be aware
of you can provide details here.
· Company Logo – This is the logo shown in your
store area
· Thumbnail Image – This is the image shown when
users browse categories or look at search results. |
Once you have completed the
process, submitted the information and confirmed it you can
then go on to create as many profiles as you need. It may
be appropriate to tailor certain aspects to reflect different
strengths in difference industries.
Please remember, this is your company resume. Keep it precise
and punchy. Help the buyer feel confident in you. No matter
how good you know you are, if the buyer doesn’t know
it, they will choose your competitor. |
|
| Product and Service
listings |
|
Just as it is important to
create an effective profile to showcase your business, you
will benefit from accurate listings of the products and services
you wish to provide.
The way BusinessParc links buyers and businesses is through
keywords and terms. When a buyer enters the item they desire
their request is matched with all providers who list such
a product or service so they may respond.
Due to the huge array of products and the subtle differences,
only exact matches will be sent messages.
This means to maximise your opportunities the more you list,
the more you will receive as you are more likely to be able
to match will buyer requests in your field. |
|
| Account area
content |
|
When you login you will be
taken to your account area. Provider accounts are far more
comprehensive than buyer accounts as you need the ability
to create profiles, list products and/or services along with
advertising options and more.
The ‘Account Area’ section details all aspects
and provides guidance on making the most of your account. |
|
| Account Area |
|
| My Account |
This area is divided into seven sections

| Review Centre |
|
From this area you can read
the comments left by your customers.
This is one of the most important features of BusinessParc
and one of the most powerful tools buyers possess.
Once an order has been completed, they have the ability to
leave a review of the provider. This review will be coordinated
with reviews from other buyers and forms part of your profile.
For this reason only buyers that have completed a purchase
can comment. This means feedback is accurate and timely. By
leaving candid feedback of their experience they help BusinessParc
understand the quality of providers registered and most importantly
you help fellow buyers make more informed decisions during
their selection processes.
For this reason we encourage you to make every effort to fulfil
commitments made when obtaining new customers, otherwise it
will come back and bite you! |
|
| My Preference |
|
| From this screen you can update your details and
passwords. If your password is compromised at any time, it is
important to change this and maintain the security of your account. |
|
| Selling |
| Introduction |
|
BusinessParc brings ecommerce
into a new era by enabling buyers and businesses to interact
without needing to search for one another.
This means you can use the internet as a tangible asset for
your business and a new distribution channel. Instead of spending
time and money ‘optimizing’ your website so you
can be found just to discover you are not getting any traffic
or even buyers.
BusinessParc offers you the ability to receive inquiries for
the products and services you do from buying customers direct
to your email account.
This means you are not only aware of every buyer but you are
able to respond and interact!
At no time are your personal details disclosed so there is
no risk of junk mail, spam, pop ups or any of the current
internet plagues.
BusinessParc also gives buyers the chance to read reviews
left by previous buyers of their experience with you as a
provider. When combined with the ability to converse via a
message broad, provider profiles, and links to your website
buyers and providers have never been able to be so close. |
|
| Preparing for Buyers |
|
Just as you would set up a
shop before expecting customers, BusinessParc requires that
you set up your profile and list the products and services
you provide.
For guidance on these processes you can read our ‘getting
started’ sections.
However, there is also a culture change to prepare for. Initially
it would help to familiarise yourself with the message board.
This facility is essential to securing business and is your
number one tool.
Often buyers award business to providers able to respond quickly.
Check the set up of your designated email account. How often
are emails checked? Who receives them and who will be responsible
for responding to enquiries?
Finally, how will you use BusinessParc? Will you just be selling
or will you be buying too? Often those who buy will benefit
from reciprocation.
We encourage you to use BusinessParc as a new source of business
contacts that you may not otherwise be able to generate through
your own efforts.
|
|
| Receiving Requests |
|
Just as you may be a BusinessParc
novice so may those buyers who are submitting requests. As
you start to receive requests you will notice a wide variance
in content.
When responding we encourage you to treat every inquiry as
a new potential lifetime customer.
Once you have proven your ability to a new customer often
they will return to you without requesting other quotes.
It is important in the early stages to respond to as many
requests as you can so you can build a track record of sales
through BusinessParc and a corresponding record of feedback.
Once you have built a record of feedback buyers will be more
likely to use your services and you can become more selective
requests. |
|
| Selection Process |
|
When buyers are making their selection of providers
we encourage them to use of all the information available; to
take time reviewing previous buyer feedbacks, look at provider
profiles and view their websites if available.
We encourage them to make use of the message board facility.
This feature often helps them understand who the best provider
is. Often when it comes to price, you get what you pay for.
This is always a consideration when choosing a provider and
often carries different weight in different circumstances.
With this in mind, how do you stand up to the criteria? If you
were in the market, would you buy from your company? What can
you do to enhance your ability to compete in each aspect? |
|
| Payment Process |
|
BusinessParc has created a process to provide
buyers and providers with a consistent payment experience.
When an agreement to supply has been made, you must raise an
invoice. This invoice is displayed for payment in the buyer
account area. Once settled BusinessParc will then forward these
funds to your BusinessParc account for withdrawal. |
|
| Feedback |
|
| You will be able to read the feedback left by
buyers from your account area. |
|
| Buying as a Provider |
Every business has the need to purchase products and services.
BusinessParc membership gives you access to a whole range of
providers of every size across a huge variety of categories.
This means you are able to buy competitively when sourcing your
own business solutions.
We encourage you to use BusinessParc for your own business needs
and put the service to the test. This experience will also aid
your own efforts as a provider as you will be able to view BusinessParc
through the eyes of a buyer. |
|
| Advertising |
| Introduction |
|
BusinessParc attracts a wide
variety of users from individuals and small enterprises to
large corporations and multinationals, we therefore offer
a number of solutions to help promote and inform users of
products, services and companies available through BusinessParc. |
|
| Solutions |
|
Page Sponsorship
BusinessParc has fifteen key industry pages; they each centre
on a single industry and are mini home pages in their own
right. This means high levels of traffic, repeat views and
sticky areas. Page sponsorship is an annual contract that
provides a single sponsor the opportunity to display their
advert on a key industry page. Sponsors must be relevant to
the key industry page on which they wish to appear.
Key Placement
Provider listings are organised by subcategories and displayed
accordingly on a ten per page basis. Key placement allows
providers to guarantee a specific position when results are
displayed which offers greater click through opportunities
to provider stores, products, services and websites.
Active Ads
Active ads appear when users view results of their search.
This method allows advertisers to target their campaign by
key words and phrases that pertain to their company, product,
service or campaign objective. Payment relates directly to
success and is charged by click through. This means if your
advert is not selected you do not pay. Think of it as a pay
as you go feature. |
