Established in 1969, as Free Fit Car Radio, we soon found ourselves fitting alarms, cruise controls and, in 1975, air conditioning. To reflect the changing nature of the vehicle electronics industry we changed our name to Motronics, The All Car Electrics Specialists. We moved to our current site in 1990 giving us 4000 squre feet of workshop space plus large demonstration and storage facilities. We also operate a full mobile service for the motor trade in the area

VEHICLE SECURITY: Motronics have been involved with car security since the early 70’s and were one of the first VSIB accredited installers in the UK, winning this accolade in October 1974. The Home Office and the Vehicle Insurance Industry, established the Vehicle Security Installation Board to set the standard to which all vehicle security installers should attain CRUISE CONTROLS: Usually found on only the up market cars, Motronics can fit a cruise control on most car models, petrol or diesel. You can have all the benefits of significantly improved fuel economy, more relaxed driving, less vehicle wear and tear and improved safety. We can install to practically any make of car or light van, whether manual or automatic, petrol or diesel, new or second-hand. By using cruise control on open roads and motorways, your fuel consumption is minimised, the car feels smoother, the ride more even and there is much less strain on the driver, particularly on long journeys. Motronics have been installing AC into cars since 1975 and as well as being a main dealer for DIAVIA, the largest manufacturer of aftermarket AC kits in Europe, we can obtain kits from many other sources. We also install AC into many commercial vehicles and specialise in bespoke installations for mini-buses
